Came across this article, and while I've got to admit my ignorance of the bloggers it mentions, and of course am sorry they've lost their jobs...
But the underlying precept is pretty darned exciting:
People are getting paid well for blogging!
Bloggers are gathering enormous crowds of readers!
And as you've no doubt heard the motivational point about the guy who first broke the 4 minute mile - and then scores of people did it, there's this point to take away:
If someone else did it, you can, too!
